A Decision-Making Model Based on TOPSIS, WASPAS, and MULTIMOORA Methods for University Location Selection Problem

With the growing population increase and following young population’s desire to study at university, political authorities are supporting university higher education investments, especially in last 10 years. This situation has increased number of universities considerably. Because a will provide socioeconomic dynamism both development country region, choosing right location become significant problem nowadays. In line with this, this is focused on new decision wide region Turkey where currently relatively low despite high density area. Alternative cities be utilized determined particularly taking demographic structure into consideration various multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) techniques applied. Technique for Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS), Multi-Objective Optimization Basis Ratio Analysis (MOORA) applied real case study. Related criteria alternative locations specified consulting seven experts. Within study, results these methods presented, also sensitivity analyses conducted observe how sensitive changes weights. The obtained purposed aid makers field.
